The table’s sturdy cylindrical bases are expertly crafted from sustainably harvested reclaimed Grade-A teak wood, selected for its natural beauty, durability, and eco-friendly character. This reclaimed teak is left untreated and unfinished, with its organic color tones and grain patterns honed to a smooth, refined finish through careful sanding. Natural variations in color, grain, knots, and subtle splits are inherent features of the reclaimed wood, adding unique, one-of-a-kind character to each piece without compromising its structural quality or performance. Teak’s natural oils provide built-in resistance to insects, moisture, fungal decay, rot, and warping from temperature and humidity changes, making it ideal for long-term outdoor use. Over time, the warm golden tone of the teak will gracefully weather to a beautiful silvery-grey patina when exposed to the elements, deepening its rustic charm.
